A verb in English and Chinese languages may have different meanings as these differences reflected in way back in their culture and daily activities hence the verb would feature their in-depth culture and customs. Some verbs in these two distinct cultures would have their unique characteristics. Such volcaburaries show these two group people/races have diviation in their thought and observation in view of this world, as such, it is the differences in belief, in view of the cosmology as well as in terms of aesthetic.

Due to English people and Chinese people live in different culture background for a long time, in the two different languages, it is naturally to have different associations with the same animal word and to give it the more rich cultural connotation. People would associate totally different features for some animal words in the two kinds of cultures.This kind of vocabulary can best demonstrate the differences between world observation and expression for English people and Chinese people, reflecting the different world view, aesthetics and beliefs between the eastern and western cultures.
