Hi I am Li Ming.I am from Chi-an.I love my country and I love our traditional festival_the Spring Fest-val.
As we all know the Spring Festi-val is the most important festival for Chinese and it's my favorite festival,too.Like Christmas in the West,all the people living away from home go back about half a month before the Spring Festival.Airports,railway stations and long-distance bus stations are crowded with home returnees.
The Spring Festival falls on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month.On the Eve of the Spring Festival,my family watch the Spring Gala together and eat dumplings in the evening;we set off firecrakers to ring out the old year and rign in the new one.My grandmother told me that Year is a monster so that people play firecrackers to drive it away.I also pay a New Year visit to my grandparents and they always give me some gift money.As a result,I like the Spring Festival very much.
Nowadays,more and more people in China begin to celebrate foreign festivals .But I think we shouldn't forget our traditional festi-vals.They are the culture and custom of China .To be a Chinese,we should know them well and
pass them on to the next generation in the future.
