Last Saturday, I participated the volunteer event my school's eco club had organized. It was absolutely splendid! We were able to do so much for the environment. We taped up posters, handed out fliers, and even cleaned up the nearby parks and streets. I was utterly exhausted by the end of the day, but the results were rather satisfying: it felt nice to give back to the community I lived in.
