1 多阅读。这是最最好提高英语的途径。扩大了知识面，增加了词汇量，最重要是提高了你的阅读速度和能力，众所周知，阅读在四六级甚至专四专八中都是分数最重的。英语报刊杂志太多了，不用一一介绍。推荐一本书，书名“Been there,Done that”，中文书名《此时，彼地》。作者是一名18岁的华裔少女，用地道而时尚的美语向我们讲述了她在美国的四年高中生活。最重要是流畅易懂，看起来也就有兴趣往下看，因为没什么阅读障碍。
2 背单词。对我这种记性很差又丢三落四的人来说背单词永远是最痛苦的事。不知楼主是否也如此。我唯一的办法就是，把这个单词想象创造一下，让自己加深印象。比如“bride，新娘”，“bridegroom，新郎”，就想：ride是“骑”，新婚夜当然要“骑”咯（嘿嘿）；“骑”当然是在房间“room”里面骑嘛，中间再加条腿“g”。那么这两个单词很容易就有很深的印象了。虽然这个例子是流氓了一点，但是还是很实用的，而且这个例子是我们老师告诉我们的。呵呵。 办法是很笨，但百试不爽。
3 临阵磨枪。这个其实也很重要。四六级考试前两三个星期猛做真题，做一套就把一套研究烂！不一定多，做个三，四套也就行了，但做一套就要落实一套！这个方法超有效！因为考试也讲究手感的！我就是这样过级的，而且我周围的朋友同学也很认同此方法！
4 找个外国男/女朋友，成天说ABC，看你英语好不好！呵呵，其实这种人也蛮多的。
英语不是个投机取巧的事，很费工夫的。总之勤奋点，就一定学得好，哪怕今天看不到成果，明天也许就能看到；明天看不到，下个月一定能看到。一门语言的学习是循序渐进的，不可急躁，慢慢地你就会发现自己真的进步了！

A trip to Gulangyu（鼓浪屿）
Gulangyu is a small island （岛屿） in Xiamen. It covers an area of 1.
78 square kilometers and has about 20,000 people.
Many people know Gulangyu because there are many wonderful palaces to visit on
the island. My family and l loved Shuzhuang Garden best. The garden was built in
1931. Its owner was a businessman, but later it was opened to the public in the
1950s. There were halls, bridges, and pavilions（亭子）. They were all nicely built.
Besides, the Garden, Gulangyu also has nice beaches. We spent some time
there—talking, lying on the sand, or simply watching the sunrise or sunset. What a
pity! was a little cold to go into the water.
Snacks on Gulangyu are also attractive. There are streets full of different fried pans, hot dogs, cookies and sea foods. Fruit shakes with different flavor taste sweet and
fresh. I loved to have a medium size milk shake when I was visiting a museum or a
garden on the island.
Some local people told me that Gulangyu is also called Piano Island. Every year,
Gulangyu holds many music festivals and piano competitions. People love piano.

把所有的课文背下来，你就什么都回了，我初中的情况和你差不多，就是靠背课文学好的，背过课文语法、单词、词组都能解决

可以先将单词关过掉，再买一本好一点的语法书，等到你觉得水平差不多的时候，就上新概念，效果很不错,楼上的说什么背课文，在中考的时候根本没有用追问
