1、 Learning a foreign language cannot be interrupted for a day. If there is really no time, even squeeze out ten minutes every day. The morning is a good time to learn a foreign language.
学习外语一天也不能中断、倘若确实没有时光，哪怕每一天挤出十分钟来也行、早晨是学习外语的大好时光。
2、 You can put your books aside to listen to the radio, or temporarily put aside the practice of textbooks to turn over the dictionary, etc.
可以能够把书放在一边去听听广播，或暂时搁下课本的练习去翻翻词典等。
3、 Never learn by rote in isolation from the context.
绝不要脱离上下文孤立地去死记硬背。
4、 You should write down and memorize the "sentence sets" that you usually use most.
就应随时随地记下并背熟，那些平时用得最多的“句套子”。
5、 Try to "translate" what you come into contact with, such as flash advertisements and occasional words. This is also a way to rest.

When I was young ,I admired so much when I saw someone was talking with a foreigner freely in English.I dreamed from that time that I would learn the english well one day and talked with foreigner freely just like them .So Interest is the first reason of learning english.
When I grow up,I realized that with a good knowledge of english language,I caget to know the english-speaking countries' culture and history better and I can travel most of the countries freely because i can always find english speakers whereever I am.And then when I begin to look for a job ,english will become a tool for me to trade with foreigners .
Learning english well will be useful for all the life ,so I choose to learn it hard.

English is just one language of so many, why do i learn english not others?That's a question, and i do find some reasons for why.
First, english is the one that the most be wildly used language all over the world, remember it is the most one.
Second, english is the required course in school.
Third, which country is with the most huge influence in science, culutre , military force and so on?which one? Obviously, it's USA, and what's the langauge USA people speaking? Obviously, english.
And also, canada, australia, british,south afraica, so many countries.
Forth, if you want to travel abroad, no problem you won't get lost if you can speak english, if you want to know the latest science progress, new fashion, new movie, sports news and so on, english is the essensial tool you have to get.
So, above all the reasons, i think they are totally enough for me or for other people to choose learning english no matter his major or age.
to master the language for some countries;
there is no way (for me/us) to learn japanese,german, spanish and so on;
english is the world language. and in many countries it is the official language;
to travel all over the world;
China joining the wto, there will be more and more foreigners and foreign companies and factories in our country.
in China,getting the further education and promoting in post, the english examination must be passed.
to study abroad;
if the career not satisfying me/us,to get a job overseas

life .english is my compulsory course from

school
