We have enjoyed a lovely day at EBC! All enjoyed a short walk out onto the ice. Many pictures documented our fun and the inspiring views. Dave (the Terrified of High Bridges Guy) loved the lack of bridges.
We walked around EBC and met many people from Peak Promotion as well as other climbing groups. The many people here come from all over the world and are generally very pleasant. Several of us went over to check out the helicopter landing area. The entire group visited the Rivers of Ice âVanishing Glaciersâ exhibit tent. This was moving for us.
We had our last CME lecture. We enjoyed a set of case presentations from the Everest ER medical team. Many of us are inspired to return to the E.E.R. or to the HRA clinic at Pheriche.
Our last dinner here is both inspiring and somber. We all have our private thoughts of inspiration, accomplishment, and goals. What we take back to our homes will be our own chance to make a difference for the future of Nepal and our own families.
