Our Middle School
Our middle school is located in the suburbs of Beijing. With a large tall
teaching building and a broad campus, the school occupies an area of about
two hectares.
The teaching building has 20 storeys and there are about 100 classrooms
inside. With whitewashed walls and bright windowpanes, the classrooms
look much brighter. Modern multimedia teaching facilities are installed in
each classroom which make it convenient for the teachers to teach and for
the students to learn. In our school there are about 50 teachers engaged
in teaching Chinese, English, math, physics, chemistry, etc. Of the teachers,
5 are from foreign countries. They are teaching English in our school. The
British who teaches us English once worked at the Palace of Nations
in Geneva(日内瓦万国宫) as a simultaneous interpreter(同声翻译). With his
help, our oral and written English ability has been increased greatly. We all
love and respect teachers both from home and abroad.
Our school enrolls about 1,000 students from all the districts of Beijing
every year. We like our school very much and feel lucky to have studied in such
